Fire Victims in Ancol Evacuated to Refugee Camp

Hundreds of citizens living in RT 07/01, Ancol Urban Village, Pademangan Sub-district who became fire victims have been accommodated in a refugee camp near the fire location.

Everything was burned. Currently the only remaining is clothes on her body

The victims dominated by children and parents take refuge in three tents belong to North Jakarta Social Sub-dept, Indonesian Red Cross (PMI) and army.

Jesica, (23), a fire victim at RT 07/01 Ancol Urban Village expressed, fire occurred yesterday at around 6.30 PM.

2 Permanent Buildings in Pegangsaan Dua Burned Down

"Everything was burned. Currently the only remaining is clothes on her body," she said, Friday (3/25).

She and other victims hoped the government to immediately aid in forms of school equipment, milk and baby supplies.

"For food, blanket and clothes are still available. We urgently need milk and baby supplies now," she said who has a baby aged 6 and 3,5 years old.
